Rolling into the third trimester today. Would you believe I'm sucking it in? I've been taking a picture like this every week to make a time lapse video at full term. Only twelve weeks left and it seems to be flying by, but I'm sure the time will go by even faster when our weekends are full of birthing classes, hospital tours and baby showers. For now we are enjoying the quiet time at home. It's too cold to do anything else anyway!

We are already saying goodbye to the second trimester this week! With the raging hormones and growing pains settling in, I wouldn't say I cruised through this phase as many experts led me to to believe.... nevertheless I am happy we will get to meet our girl in three months! She is more and more active in there and now you can even see her little moves! The video is a little dark, but I was able to catch her in action for a few seconds.
I finished the floral mobile I have been wanting to make and I love how it turned out. We decided to hang it above the changing table instead of the crib in case anything were to fall off.
I hung up a few frames and its starting to look more and more like a room for a baby girl. The gold triangles are vinyl stickers that I layered to look like little crowns. Might be my favorite thing ever.
My results from my glucose test were good, and I baked about 8 million dozen mini cupcakes this week for Valentine's Day. Now I am free to indulge!
XOXO

Although CeCe loves playing frisbee in the snow, we love to warm up under the covers! Wool socks and a cup of tea followed this picture. Luckily I was able to work from home today, so we took lots of romps outside.
It's really sunny today and I love all the light streaming in the windows so I though I'd add some pictures of some tweaks I've made. This nesting phase has spread to the whole house...
And one more random picture of CeCe.

Baby girl is moving a lot in there! Still having some restless sleep, but overall feeling less miserable uncomfortable. Can't believe there's only 15 weeks left!
And there's my belly button, loud and proud. It's here to stay.
I started organizing some things this week and I finally found a purpose for my old wire shopping basket. Love these blankets and that some of them I used 28 years ago. They'll make the perfect baby burritos.

After the Christmas tree came down, this room felt empty and boring so I added a gallery wall mixed with some of my drawings and various prints form online sources. The colors are pretty neutral so they don't compete with the television. I also have been playing musical rugs as I got a new one that will hopefully hide dog hair better and be easier to clean. The old living room rug now lives in our bedroom after a lot of shimmying to get it under the bed. I ignored Pat when he asked "didn't we just do this?"
I got the idea for the striped candles from this blog. I just used black washi tape over some old tapers to bring them some updated funk. I made the pom pom garland out of leftovers and the chalkboard was made from an old map drawer. I have some new crafts and things to play with for the baby's room. Maybe next weekend :)

At only 24 weeks I've already started having frontal pelvic pain and my doctor has referred me to a physical therapist. To avoid hunching over when I walk or walking around with a heating pad between my legs, I've started using this video to help stretch.
I've also pretty much stopped wearing any regular pants and started living in these fleece lined leggings. They're not maternity, but they are super soft and stretchy and come in six colors. Score.
I've been moving around a lot of things in the house getting the baby's room ready and the living room has gotten a few updates. Here's CeCe modeling the new rug. Hopefully this one will hide the dog hair better!
So happy it's Friday!
